The processor at the heart of Y100 is a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. It is a fast octa-core engine with a max clock frequency of 2.2 GHz. Since the SoC’s architecture is scaled down to a mere 4nm, the phone is ultra-efficient when it comes to battery and power usage.

With 8 GB of fast LPDDR4X RAM in the mix, you’ll get a reliable future-proof device that serves up to 256 GB of onboard UFS 2.2 storage. And if that’s not enough, it expands the RAM by 8 GB and ROM by up to 1 TB using virtual memory and an SD card slot on the Vivo latest budget mobile.
While its design draws parallel to the current Samsung A series, the brand has added a rectangular landing region to make the design unique. It has three cameras on the back (50MP + 8MP + decorative) and a single 8MP lens on the front for selfies.
To fuel the system, Vivo Y100 embeds a solid 5000mAh Li-ion battery at its hull. For recharging, it draws up to 80 watts from the wall. There’s a fingerprint reader atop the AMOLED panel and several design choices for users to pick from including Crystal Black, Leather Purple, and Saffron Delight.
